When even the littlest ones get ho-hum about the snowy weather, it’s time to start thinking about spring.
Snow days are such a snooze.
We don’t even live in a really snowy climate, and Cormac is already unimpressed by this wintry blast we’ve all experienced. Luckily, warmer temps are right around the corner…because I’m not sure how long he can keep this coat on without interrupting his sleep cycles.
Almost…MARCH…! Bring on the leprechauns.
After so many snow days, it’s a wonder if everyone’s house doesn’t look like this. I guess it’s not so unusual to find William sleeping (by choice) on the floor of our sort-of-chilly basement, surrounded by pillows.
"I was pondering why I prefer the floor..."
What I did think was notable was his overly thoughtful pose.
Practicing for high school.
This actually reminds me a lot of the studied head-prop we all cultivated in order to appear that we were awake in class when we were actually nearing the drooling point.
I see great things ahead for young William…scholar of sleep.
I have seen so many funny comments today and yesterday on twitter from other moms (like Nicole, Allison, and Brenna) who are aghast at the prospect of another snow day at home with their children.
Even those who have just one child are beginning to feel like the old woman who lived in a shoe. Although this falls into the category of tame “couch naps,” it struck a chord with me, today.
Feeling a little crowded at home?
Momma to a passel of puppies, this one. I wonder how much TV they will get today?
Hang in there, parents!
